India vs Bangladesh
India has won the match by 6 wickets
Axar Patel delivered the decisive spell as India overcame Bangladesh in a one-sided contest. The Player of the Match claimed four wickets for 54 runs from his 10 overs, while Jasprit Bumrah provided excellent support with three for 35 in eight overs.
Bangladesh were dismissed for 227 in 44 overs, with Litton Das offering the main resistance. The opener scored 46 from 50 balls, striking four fours and a six, but Bangladesh struggled to build sustained partnerships against India’s attack. Mahedi Hasan was Bangladesh’s leading wicket-taker, finishing with two for 62 in 8.1 overs.
India’s chase was controlled from the outset and concluded at 232 for four in 32.1 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad anchored the innings with 66 from 65 balls, including two fours and a six, while Shreyas Iyer accelerated impressively with 50 from 36 balls, hitting four fours and three sixes.
The combination of Axar’s accurate bowling, Bumrah’s pressure at the other end and India’s confident batting ensured Bangladesh never regained momentum. India’s measured chase completed a convincing performance across both innings.
