Dey’s blazing 199 powers Colonel past Kscc in record-paced chase

Two extraordinary innings turned a high-scoring contest into a breathtaking batting showcase
Colonel vs Kscc
Colonel has won the match by 8 wickets
Colonel produced a stunning run chase against Kscc, reaching 433 for 2 in just 27.2 overs after Kscc had posted 432 for 4 from 37 overs. The eight-wicket victory was driven by an extraordinary display of power hitting and relentless scoring. Yatharth Dey was named Player of the Match after smashing 199 from 74 balls, including 16 fours and 18 sixes. He fell just short of a double century, but his strike-heavy innings set the tone for Colonel’s commanding pursuit. Debarpan Paul matched Dey’s run tally with an unbeaten-looking 199 from 81 balls, striking 22 fours and 15 sixes. Together, the pair kept the chase moving at a remarkable rate and ensured Colonel needed only 27.2 overs to overhaul Kscc’s imposing total. Kscc had earlier been lifted by a superb 221 from Apu Kumar Das, who faced 113 balls and hit 21 fours and 13 sixes. His innings formed the backbone of a formidable score, but Colonel’s batting response proved even more explosive. Ariyan Singh was Colonel’s leading bowler with four wickets for 125 runs from eight overs, while Kscc’s Debraj claimed two wickets for 54 runs in three overs. The result belonged decisively to Colonel after a match dominated by outstanding individual batting performances.
