A breathtaking opening assault turned Colonel’s imposing total into a target conquered with remarkable ease.
Colonel vs Champamura
Champamura has won the match by 10 wickets
Champamura produced a stunning run chase, racing to 216 without losing a wicket in just 16.5 overs to defeat Colonel by 10 wickets in the 30-over contest. The victory was built on an extraordinary opening partnership that overwhelmed a strong-looking target of 212 for one.
Player of the Match Sandipan Das set the tone with a blistering 100 from 50 balls, striking 12 fours and six sixes. His power and timing kept the chase ahead of the required rate from the outset, leaving Colonel’s bowlers with few opportunities to apply pressure.
Riaz Akhtar was equally destructive, finishing with 101 from 51 deliveries. His innings included 13 fours and five sixes, as Champamura’s openers maintained a relentless tempo and completed the chase in emphatic fashion. The pair’s combined aggression ensured the result was settled well inside the allotted 30 overs.
Colonel had earlier posted 212 for one, with Debarpan Paul making 66 from 85 balls, including one four and one six. SIR KARNAJIT was Champamura’s leading wicket-taker with one for 62 from nine overs, while Harshit Kumar returned figures of none for 10 in one over. But with the bat, Champamura’s response was simply too powerful, earning a commanding 10-wicket success.
