Ujjwal Raj produced a stunning all-round performance as 11 Star edged PWCA by one wicket in a dramatic 35-over contest. Raj smashed 249 from 117 balls, striking 42 fours and five sixes, before returning with the ball to claim eight wickets for just six runs.
PWCA posted 337 all out in 34.5 overs after a powerful batting display. Mayank Raj Gupta led the charge with 130 from 76 balls, including 17 fours and four sixes, while Patel added 96 from 76 deliveries with 10 fours and six sixes.
11 Star’s chase went down to the final over, with the side reaching 338 for nine in the allotted 35 overs. Raj’s extraordinary innings provided the platform for the winning pursuit, while his spell then dismantled the PWCA batting order in spectacular fashion.
Adarsh Kumar Yadav was another major contributor with the ball for PWCA, taking five wickets for three runs in five overs. Yuvraj Singh also claimed four wickets for 17 runs, but 11 Star held their nerve to complete a remarkable finish.
