Deepak Charan’s Blazing 71 Powers South Extension to Nine-Wicket Win

South Extension Team Delhi produced a commanding chase, reaching 100-1 in just 5.4 overs to defeat Lajpat Nagar Team Delhi by nine wickets in their 10-over contest. Deepak Charan was the decisive figure, smashing an unbeaten 71 from only 19 deliveries. His innings featured seven fours and six sixes, combining clean striking with relentless pressure on the Lajpat Nagar bowlers. The performance earned him Player of the Match honours. Lajpat Nagar had posted 96-2 from their 10 overs, with Yogesh leading the way with a composed 51 from 31 balls. He struck four fours and three sixes, while Prakhar added a brisk 26 from 14 deliveries, including three fours and a six. South Extension’s bowlers had earlier kept the total within reach. Satyam claimed 1-20 from three overs and Kunal returned 1-31 from two, while Ganesh was Lajpat Nagar’s wicket-taker with 1-38 from his two overs. But once the chase began, Charan’s explosive hitting quickly removed any suspense.
