Sidhu’s 226 Powers IND LEGENDS to Ten-Run Thriller

K. Sidhu produced a breathtaking 226 from 80 balls to drive IND LEGENDS to 400-7 in their 25 overs, then held their nerve as NZ LEGENDS finished on 390-4. The 10-run victory came after one of the most explosive batting displays of the contest. Sidhu’s innings featured nine fours and 21 sixes, earning him Player of the Match honours and giving IND LEGENDS a formidable platform. His dominance put the opposition under relentless pressure, but NZ LEGENDS responded with an equally fierce chase. Taran led the reply with a superb 154 from 57 deliveries, striking seven fours and five sixes. Manjot added 69 from 27 balls, including two fours and two sixes, as NZ LEGENDS kept the asking rate within reach throughout the 25-over pursuit. Ekam proved decisive for IND LEGENDS with three wickets for 92 runs from seven overs. Akash and Taran claimed two wickets apiece for NZ LEGENDS, but their efforts could not overcome Sidhu’s extraordinary contribution at the top of the order. The result was settled only after a spectacular late contest between two powerful batting line-ups.
